You'll see the same faces over and over. Because of this, the media likes to create stories revolving around the making of sports rivalries.

Cristiano Rolnaldo and PokerStars formed a partnership back in 2015, and he stayed with the company as a "brand ambassador" for a couple of years. Though he bills himself as a competent player, and PokerStars only naturally puffed up his playing abilities, he was mediocre at best. But it could be argued that he helped raise money for good causes by playing charity matches with other equally mediocre stars of film and media. His job was to bring the brand to public attention and he certain did.
